I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Domestic Violence Professional. I have experience working with children, adults, families and couples. My specialties include adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, divorce, Domestic Violence, trauma and adolescents. I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.
I enjoy helping people and seeing the progress they make. Life is not perfect and might never be, but seeing my clients hopeful about life makes my job worth it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A new client usually comes in for an intake session where a lot of information including background will be shared so I can get to know him/her better and eventually be able to help this client manage the symptoms that are bringing him or her in for therapy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health in Counseling. I am a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor and an Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional.
