About
Hello, my name is Katie and I provide individual, couples and group therapy. Individually, I work with adolescents ( 12+) and adults who are specifically healing from trauma or dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, relationship struggles, or big life changes. My work with clients also includes teaching new skills, such as mindfulness and relaxation exercises, to help build tools for managing stress and finding calm. This often involves deep breathing and guided meditation. I like to create a peaceful environment—sometimes sitting on the floor with clients in a softly lit room with calming music—where we can practice these techniques together.
I use a variety of proven approaches like CBT, trauma-focused CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness, tailoring what I do to fit what you need most.
