I understand and I have experienced depression and anxiety and what it's like to be addicted to alcohol and drugs. I have 26 years of recovery and I couldn't have done this without the help of those who would listen.
I see individual adults for therapy.
I also see adults with life transitions, ptsd, stress, family/social relationships, grief, medical/physical focus, bipolar, relationship therapy, sleep disorders, and spirituality.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and solution focused therapy. I'm willing to walk with you hand-in-hand to give you the tools to have and keep a life that is fulfilling.

I'm accepting self-pay clients.
I am accepting new clients and I take Aetna, Aetna-EAP, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Apostrophe, Bright Health Plan, Cigna, Cigna-EAP, Foster Source, Friday Health Plans, Justice Reskill Benefit Network, Kaiser, United Health Care, Optum/United EAP (CO), Oscar Health Plan, and TriWest insurance through SonderMind.
I also take Medicaid (Colorado Access).
I do teletherapy only at this time.
I enjoy walking with the clients in their struggles and accomplishments.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The potential client may call me on my confidential hippa compliant phone number of (970) 718-5578 or email on my confidential hippa compliant email of [email protected]. I offer a free phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit in working together. I see individual adults that struggle with depression and anxiety and/or adults with alcohol and drug abuse/addictions.
If we are a good fit I will set up a time for the potential client to come in and do an assessment to find out more about current and past struggles.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been counseling adults with mental health and/or alcohol and drug issues for 15 years. I have been dually licensed as a licensed professional counselor and a licensed addiction counselor for over 10 years.
I have 24 years of recovery from alcohol and marijuana.
I received a MA in Counseling in 2007 and a BA in Psychology in 2005.

The assessment and therapy session are each 150.00.
How did you get started in this business?
After working for agencies for 13 years I decided it was time to go into private practice.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with those that struggle with depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. I have worked with clients that have insurance. I have worked 5 years in jails or prisons as well as helping people transition back into society after jail and prison. I have worked with Medicaid and self-pay clients. I've worked with federal clients, community sentencing cients, drug court clients, and EAP clients.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm proud of starting my own counseling practice.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would encourage a person to ask lots of questions and find out about the potential counselor. During a free phone consultation or free consultation in a potential's therapist office is the best time to get to know the therapist and if it feels like a right fit. You should feel safe, warm, and welcomed.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I think it's important for a person to think about and be able to explain what is bringing them to counseling and the pain point in his or her life that is making them want to change.
