About
My company focuses on solution focused therapy. We will work with clients from where they are at in the moment and work towards teaching a skill set of resilience, growth, mindfulness, and emotional regulation. I realize that in today’s world, as fast paced as it is, clients need help functioning now in order to maintain their job, their livelihood, their families. We know that we create patterns in our lifetime, but for my clients the sense of urgency to get their lives back on track is the focus. I have worked in a variety of settings, including multiple countries, multiple schools, and with a variety of age ranges and emotional concerns.
I enjoy the one on one interactions with people, and seeing them grow emotionally over time. Teaching resilience skills and allowing a client to discover their own path is empowering. I enjoy learning more and more about new trends in the world of therapy, and new approaches to practicing and teaching. I got started in this business because I never wanted anyone to feel like they were incapable of accomplishing difficult and challenging things in their lives. I was raised to believe I could be whatever I wanted to be, and I want others to have that same belief. Being an advocate for someone that needs help finding their voice is a great feeling.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am happy to provide a 30 minute free consultation before we begin. I explain my process and what I hope for for my clients. I ask them to share with me a little about what they hope to gain from therapy, and I gather a bit about past history with any form of therapy that they may have had in the past.

I have am Master’s degree in school counseling, and an LPC from the state of Colorado. I have training in DBT, trauma, complex trauma, addiction, relapse prevention, a certification of Adlerian style therapy, as well as LGBTQ, and cultural sensitivity.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge per a set amount per session, and will do a sliding scale based on proven client income.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always been in a helping profession as a special educator, and a school counselor, but as things began to change in schools, I decided to pursue a license to practice private therapy where I believe I could help more people. Since the time I read The Catcher in the Rye in grade 10 English, I knew I wanted to be in a profession that helped people feel less lonely, more connected in their lives.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients ages 10-65 on concerns related to ADHD, behavior and emotional regulation, addiction, trauma, leagal concerns, grief and loss, abuse. Most of my clients come from a variety of backgrounds both socio-economic and cultural.
