What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have have a short get acquainted meeting before an actual session. If I'm dealing with a couple, I like the first session to be with both of them so I can see how they interact with each other. Then I like 2-3 single sessions so I can get to know the person and they can say whatever is on their mind without fear of hurting the other person or recriminations. Then I bring them back together as a couple and we go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Service Management, I am a Certified Professional Coach, I am an Ordained Minister. I have worked for years as a Social Service provider, I was a police officer for 10 years. In all of my jobs, my goal has been to help people.

Since I don't take insurance, I try to keep my fee low so people can afford to continue to do counseling. My fee is $50 per hour and a session is usually an hour long.
