How did you get started in this business?
My father introduced me to reflexology when I was a child. Reiki is part of my path sharing my light in the world. I first came across Reiki when I worked at a personal growth bookstore. I committed to sharing my healing gifts after in 2001. I left the corporate world then and have been sharing my offerings in the private since then.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with people of all walks of life. Some are coming for relaxation and stress relief while others with medical issues. Others are looking to empower their health, life or business goals.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I really enjoyed giving Reiki to a friend's small herd of horses. It's such a joy to share the universal light with animals.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would always suggest to follow your intuition to work with someone you feel can help. Ask if the practitioner has experience or is comfortable working on your condition. Look to work with someone who knows your body heal's itself and is there to support your body's natural healing power.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Am I ready to relax? Am I ready for making room in my life for my own self care? Do I know my body has the ability to heal itself? Do I know that relaxation is an important part of nurturing my body's self healing system? Do I understand that relaxation boosts my body's immune system?
