About
I have traveled an amazing journey with my own traumatic story that I turned into the life of my dreams. One of my mentors asked me a question that I will never forget--,”Now that this has happened to you what are you going to do with it?”
I received my Master’s degree in clinical counseling from Regis University and began working for a non-profit counseling at risk youth. After I received my license, I became the owner of Powerful Heart Counseling & Coaching. At the same time I retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of service. I have counseled and coached ages 2 to 52 and believe that people are powerfully resilient. My greatest honor is being a mother! These 3 teens are incredible! Not only do they have their own special personalities they have a strong bond with each other. I love our home filled with giggling and insane humor! There is never a dull moment and there is so much sunshine in their souls. They are my comedians, teacher, and challengers that continue to make me be the greatest person I can be.
I love people all kinds of them! I believe in helping others create a life instead of competing for it. I speak right to the matters of the heart and my desire is to see others utterly fulfilled with their life. I believe people can have profound and permanent joy!
I believe the biggest and best gift people can give themselves is nurturing and self-compassion! I am committed to being direct and kind as possible in the moments I am in. When someone is in pain, I want to be in the pain with them in that moment. I want to celebrate the wins each person has and see them create what they desire. In the moment they are longing for fulfillment in their soul and their desire to live the most successful life possible. To awaken them to all the limitless possibilities and creating the life dreams are made of.
