When we feel overwhelmed-whether it's by an emotion, a situation, a relationship, or anything else-we tend to focus on the things we cannot control. As a therapist, I am most passionate about helping people discover the things in life they can control. There is power in this discovery process and I am committed to helping people harness that power as a means to overcome whatever they may be struggling with.

My style is warm, attentive, and thoughtful. I strive to create a safe space by establishing mutual respect and trust; there is nothing more important than my clients feeling comfortable. With comfort being key, I strongly believe that therapy does not always have to revolve around problems and negative emotions. Instead, I hope my clients look at each session as an opportunity to understand themselves better, find solutions to their struggles, and maybe even laugh a little because, after all, there is nothing wrong with lightening the mood on your journey to becoming a healthier, happier version of yourself.

Above all else, I value every single client in a very individualized capacity. I embrace the many facets that make each person who they are, that contribute to their unique story. And I would love to understand your story. My goal is not to label you or arbitrarily designate you to one model of therapy. Instead, I want to team up with you and develop an integrative approach that is focused on realistic solutions, geared towards your personal strengths, and conducive to your overall quality of life.
