I specialize in reducing pain and discomfort in the neck and shoulders & low back/hips, as well as increasing range of motion and/or ease of movement.

While therapeutic massage is not a replacement of medical treatment or attention; soft tissue treatment does greatly compliment medical treatment by assisting the reduction of pain, helping musculature become more supple and flexible which can improve joint stiffness, improve range of motion and decrease joint pain by getting in and manipulating the soft tissue area’s that cause pain, restrict joints and reduce inflammation.

We approach your goals as a team. By working together through a treatment plan and education; we can achieve result levels that may not have seemed possible.

Q & A

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

Depending on the issue being addressed will depend on the depth of consult. Consults last between 5 and 15 minutes based on injury or desired result.

I am a therapist that works therapeutically focused.  Deep tissue may be needed in certain areas. Deep Tissue is often confused with deep pressure.  I generally do not provide deep pressure treatment. We may do active and passive movement during the session and "zoning out or sleeping" is not generally a part of a treatment session.

We work together to maximize desired results of the client.

Changing lives in a meaningful way; for continuous improvement of physical freedom from pain!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

40 hours of training in Active Myofascial Therapy

20 hours of training in Clinical Myofascial Release

10 hours of training in Whiplash assessment and Treatment

multiple hours in integrative stretching, shoulder treatment, headaches and some training in PTSD

I will forever be a student in my field!
