I have been a counselor for 42 years. My Ph.D. Is in Human Development. I work with ages 6 thru adulthood. I have a certificate for Spiritual Counseling. I am an expect in Sand Tray Therapy. I have written a book called “ Thoughts in Solitude “. You can order it on Amazon. I come from Austria and speak fluent German. I have a passion for St. Bernards and presently have two Eli and Diesel. I am married and have one adult son. I was formerly a Catholic nun. I have traveled extensively all over the world. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A client calls and I send them to a website to download my paperwork. They come for an intake appointment to see if they are an appropriate client to treat. They can come weekly or every other month. They must have insurance where I am a provider.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Most clients are covered by their insurance and may have a copay or co-insurance payment. Some pay as private clients. My session out of pocket is 60.00 dollars a sesssion.
How did you get started in this business?
Since I was a child people confided in me. People naturally want to tell their story. They trust me instantly and share their secrets and their sufferings. I realized that I had a gift of wisdom and understanding.
What types of customers have you worked with?
most of my career was working with young sexually abused children. Now I work with adjustment disorders. I see clients who suffer from marital issues, depression, anxiety, PTSD, different sexual orientations, grief therapy, faith based struggles and relationship issues.

Hanging out with my St. Bernard’s and being with my husband.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The client must pay attention to whether the counselor is humble and willing to get feedback. The client must feel safe and confident that the counselor has their back. The client should feel comfortable to be transparent and honest.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What am I seeking? What do I want to have happen in therapy! What are my objectives and goals? What type of therapy is best for me?
