About
My name is Lisa, and I am a licensed associate counselor (LAC) here in Arizona. I work with individuals, couples or families at any stage, and can help guide you or your loved ones through life’s stressors. Whether it’s anxiety, depression or spiritual rejuvenation via our Meditation and Mindfulness group, I can help.
As a resident therapist I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and instruct weekly Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness groups. I have served in several roles helping Arizona's families since 2008, have a bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Family and Human Development as well as a master’s in Professional and Christian Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am under the direct supervision of Terri Roman, LPC.
My desire is to help individuals be the best version of themselves, and I look forward to working with you!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Prior to scheudling an appointment, I prefer to conduct a quick phone consultation (5 to 10 minutes long) so that I can better get to know. After we have scheduled an appointment I will email you intake paperwork for you to complete prior to our appoinment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my LAC (licensed associate counselor). I have completed my MS in Professional and Christian Counseling at GCU, an I have a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Family and Human Development from ASU.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For individual and couples counseling my fees are $65 a session. I teach a teen and adult DBT group. I also offer a Mindfulness and Meditaiton Group which costs $15 for a one time session or $100 for 8 sessions.
