Are you a woman or mom who struggles with self-care and loving yourself well? Do You find difficulty in managing the daily stressors of life and constantly worry about whether or not you are good enough? Do you spend a lot of time worried about things that are beyond your control? Are relationships a bit of a struggle? Do you have unresolved issues of your past?
While we as women go through similar circumstances, each of our experiences are different. I provide personalized treatment that focuses on the needs of the individual. As a woman first, and then a mom, I have experienced many of the things that come along with this journey such as stress, insecurities, uncertainty, postpartum depression, anxiety and being unsure of myself and what I am supposed to do in life. Being able to heal from my experiences has allowed me to live a life full of joy and I can help you do the same. I will work with you to come up with goals and help you gain the tools necessary to achieve them. In therapy, we will partner together to help you become the BOSS of your own life.
I look forward to helping you find peace, healing and joy through therapy.
My passion is for helping women and moms get through many of the same issues that once controlled my life. I find joy in helping my clients move from just surviving to thriving throughout the duration of our work together. From everyday issues of stress or anxiety to issues of loss, uncertainty and depression, I find so much joy in helping my clients become better.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A intake session will be scheduled for new clients. In this session we will discuss relevant information related to my practice and the work we will do in sessions. We will also discuss the issues that bring you to therapy and work on a treatment plan that will address your needs and concerns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the University of alabama at Birmingham where I gained my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Social Psychology and minor in women's studies. I obtained my Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Alabama and a national certified counselor by the national board of certified counselors.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing for sessions are as follows:
$155 for intake session (this session may take up to 90min.)
$135 for each additional session (these sessions are 60min.)
I have a limited number of reduced fee slots. The price for these slots are $80 per session. You can contact me to determine if there are any reduced fee slots available.

I work primarily with women and moms.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be sure that you are working with a trained and licensed professional who is a good fit for you. Every therapist is not for every client. Find a therapist who is able to provide you with valuable information on the work that they do in order to determine if their specific work may benefit your needs.
