I've been a counselor for over 20 years and have experience with adults and children. I mostly see clients with depression, ADHD, and anxiety- but also those with chronic illnesses. I believe that people improve when they are validated and learn to see things from different perspectives. Human connection is never a thing to be taken for granted.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first meeting to take place is an intake- which is usually an hour. During this time background information, social history, and the presenting problems are discussed. No judgment. My attention is yours!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master's Degree in Community Counseling
Certification in Ministry and Leadership
What types of customers have you worked with?
My experience has been mostly with children and families. I also work now with more individual adults. I DO NOT do marital/couple counseling. I don't do substance abuse counseling.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be sure of your needs and what you want help with when you a contact a therapist. That way, your time and the therapist's time is well spent, and the path for proceeding is much clearer.
