Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You can reach out via email, message or phone call. We can determine what type of appointment you would like, video, phone, or in person. If you have access to internet the forms will be sent to you electronically to complete or if you prefer we can do paper and pencil intakes. We do not have a typical proces for our first session, each client is unique in their needs and we try to accommodate those needs. Some individuals want to tell their story while others want to dive right in and tackle the issue at hand. We do our best to accommodate everyone's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a graduate degree in forensic psychology, a graduate degree in clinical social work and am licensed as a clinical social worker and clinical supervisor in training. I am formally trained in CBT, ACT, and the Gorman method.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We accept many insurances and have a sliding fee available for individuals who may not be able to afford services. Standard cash rate is $100/hr
