I am like to work with people where they are and with what they need. Some just need someone to talk to and others want homework and suggested reading materials or workbooks.
I have over 25 years of experience counseling people and I work with individuals with a variety of problems and issues. I have experience with trauma, grief,anxiety, depression, work problems and relationship issues.
I am currently only doing telemental health services due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a HIPAA compliant video conferencing service.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session is information gathering where I ask questions about your issues and why you decided to seek therapy now. Often there is a precipitating issue that caused someone to seek help. I ask about any previous therapy or attempts to solve the issue and what you are seeking from me.
I ask about your past and other situations related to the problem. Then I ask what you are looking for from therapy and we set some goals together.
