Hello! My name is Jeffrey Lloyd and I’m a board-certified Psychotherapist. I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and have been practicing therapy for 20 years. I specialize in helping individuals overcome relationship issues, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, substance abuse related issues, work stress, and unresolved grief. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you're located in Richmond, I have a sunny office in a beautiful historic building downtown. If you're outside of the city, I provide teletherapy either over the phone or virtual therapy through a HIPAA-compliant video link that I'll send prior to your appointment.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I accept all major insurance coverages including medicaid and medicare. I am a credentialed provider with many Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) as well. Flat rate pricing is based on an affordable sliding scale.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Finding a therapist that you have a rapport with is not easy. If you've had experience with therapy before and it didn't work out as you expected, don't give up hope on the process.
