Hello! My name is Dr. Ken Newberger. I hold a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution. As the architect of the "Reconciliation Model of Peacemaking," I am an expert in promoting healthy, harmonious relationships. I have worked with people from all walks of life, from pre-marital sweethearts, married couples in every age bracket, and extended families, to workplace staff, business partners, and organizations with multi-party conflict (with up to 16 people in a room).

I am the author of the book, “Hope in the Face of Conflict” and am the innovator of the Conflict Analysis Tool for couples. I have taught master's level students at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, in its Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, have served as an Approved Educational Provider for the National Board for Certified Counselors, and am a Certified Facilitator for the Prepare-Enrich couple's assessment tool. I have written dozens of articles for various publications and have been interviewed more than 20 times on radio and television.

Earlier in my career, I served as senior pastor to congregations outside New York City and Washington, D.C. I earned my Master of Theology degree from Dallas Seminary after leaving law school for the ministry. Although I subscribe to a Judeo-Christian worldview, I welcome and work with people from all walks of life.

In addition to my professional expertise, I draw upon my marital experience. I have been happily married to Mary for over 45 years. We raised three sons, and now have three daughters-in-law, and a growing number of grandchildren. As appropriate, he will share personal insights gleaned along the way to further help the two of you.
