FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When working with new clients I always work on building a great rapport with them and create an open and safe space for clients to ask questions about therapy or their perceptions of what they think therapy will be. I think that is always a good way to introduce new clients to therapy to hopefully help reduce any fear, worry, or conerns they may have.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Allegheny College and I obtained my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Washington University. I am currently licensed with the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as a LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor). I have been practicing for 3 to 4 years but I have been working in the mental health field since 2011. So, I have a lot of experience with adults and children with various mental health disorders.
