About
I believe in starting where my client has the most concerns and am passionate about helping others. My work reflects this compassion through my non-judgmental, empathetic, often humorous, patient, and laidback approach. I want this to be a calming and helpful journey for you.
Together, we can work to find solutions to those stressors you face individually through support, reframing, and mindfulness. My goal is to provide you a space that makes you feel supported and safe in exploring those aspects of your life that affect your success and enrichment.
My therapeutic style is based on my belief that we all have a right to self-determination. I come from a position of unconditional, positive regard with a varied approach working with clients from a humanistic and strengths-based approach with a solution-focused perspective. In my work with clients, I enjoy learning from my clients what has or has not worked for them, collaborating with them on their goals and defining a path to success together, and seeing their growth and desired change. My passion is helping others through our work together, using humor, honesty, and support to help them to live their best and happiest lives.

How did you get started in this business?
I started Think Change Counseling to provide transformational counseling and alternative support in a way that feels more open and relaxed for people I have worked with dealing with anxiety, depression, and other areas of life’s challenges. Change occurs more readily when the therapeutic relationship feels welcoming and easy. I work closely with my clients to heal the wounds of a lifetime and navigate life’s major transitions. I support clients through deep, nurturing interpersonal relationships as I guide them in transforming their life experiences. My unique therapeutic approach includes clinical principles and practices to bring nourishing alignment to each individual’s mental, emotional, physical, and social experience.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in working with adult individuals who feel overwhelmed when facing the stress and challenges of life. I help my clients understand their triggers and learn new coping skills that help them feel healthier, more confident, and hopeful.
I have years of experience helping adult individuals to overcome difficulties with anxiety disorders, depression, and stress-related problems. My work with clients includes those who are seeking help with bereavement and the grieving process from the death of a loved one, to divorce, to loss of personal dreams, health, faith, or career. I also work with communication skills, setting boundaries, conflict management, divorce, intimacy, LGBTQI+, life transitions, gender concerns, managing career & business, relationship issues, self-confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, sexuality, and stress.
