I am here to help you through relationship problems, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, life changes and finding your best self. If you feel stuck or are struggling in a way that you can, or cannot identify, having someone to help process your thoughts and emotions can really help. We can develop coping skills, manage emotions, improve communication, reduce conflict and find the best way forward in the right direction. I encourage a sense of humor because it helps with acceptance and positive outlook when appropriate. This is a no judgment zone.
I enjoy interacting with people with at a personal level, with people who are ready to change and search themselves for growth. I like being challenged and I am curious about why people are the way they are. Mostly I like to see people recover and excel in their functioning.
I was initially intimidated at the idea of starting therapy and talking with someone I didn't know. I wasn't sure what to expect or even how the whole process would work. I connected with Amy immediately. She put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable. Through our time together I have gone through a lot of self discovery. She helps me talk through the good, bad and ugly without judgement. She's genuine and caring - and includes the right dose of humor. She has helped me alter my perception of my experiences and my situations. I have a newfound understanding of "me". It has helped me grow and find a better place - and I truly believe I am a better person for it.
