FaithWorks Christian And Family Counseling
About
FaithWorks Christian and Family Counseling is my Christian based private Counseling practice that stands out by helping clients overcome mental health and life challenges through offering services from a Godly perspective. Within my sessions, I offer to pray with clients as well as walk them through issues of their lives by finding hope through the Holy Scriptures if the client is comfortable with that approach. If not, I use practical approaches that are solution focused. This means the client and I brainstorm ways to jumpstart the healing process. I also offer a variety of ways to conduct therapy sessions. First example, I travel to my clients to a location of their choice and I also offer virtual therapy through a video calling/chat app that can be easily downloaded on smartphones or computers. I have a passion for seeing people healed and mentally healthy. I have 11 years of counseling practice under my belt and have a Phd in Christian Counseling. I spent 8 years working with children in a local mental health facility in Dallas. In my current practice I work with males and females beginning from ages 3-adulthood. Since I offer video chat therapy sessions, you do not have to reside in the Dallas Fort Worth area to receive my services. The video chat works from anywhere. I look forward to meeting your mental health needs.
Dr. Roslyn Phenix. (L.C.P.C). Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor
I enjoy seeing the positive progress that people make when they decide to receive therapy services. I have witnessed clients go from being depressed, anxious, and having no direction in life to being healed, set free, and full of confidence in themselves and God. It is also very rewarding to see clients perspectives change about themselves and their situations. The more positive perceptions on life become an encouragenent to me as well.

How did you get started in this business?
I began the Counseling business through my passion for helping people who are hurting. I love to see people reach their God given purpose in life and want to let them know that negative situations dont have to steal their joy and seasons in life really can change for the better.

I have worked with children who demonstrated behavior issues such as defiance and ADHD.
I have also worked with a series of young adult women who have battled severe anxiety , fear, and panic, and depression. I also provide grief therapy.
