About
I have experience working with a variety of issues but specialize in work surrounding stress and trauma. Much of my professional work has been focused on the first responder community where I provided critical incident stress debriefings as well as ongoing one on one therapy. As a result of my experience, I also have extensive experience in working with death, coping and loss.
Please note that licensing for Marriage and Family Therapists is state by state and I am currently licensed in California and Tennessee.
In addition to my experience as an individual therapist, I have run depression groups, have provided on-going training to first responders and co-developed and presented a course on stress in law enforcement which is taught at a police academy in northern California.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process of therapy begins with an intake and private practice paperwork. We will then talk about you goals for therapy and put together a collaborative plan to reach those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am licensed in California as well as Tennessee as a Marriage and Family Therapist. My masters degree is from John F. Kennedy University and my undergrad is from San Francisco State.
