Welcome! The fact that you are looking for a therapist to work with tells me that you are wanting to make some changes in your life. I am here to help you take the necessary steps for a brighter future for yourself and your loved ones.
I work with individuals, couples, families, adults and teenagers regarding issues such as trauma, grief, loss, addictions, depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, life transitions, and attachment disorders.
My added specialty is treating individuals or couples whose relationships have been ruptured by sexual addiction and trauma. I also facilitate confidential men's and women's therapy groups.
I began working in mental health 14 years ago. I am an ASAT (Associate Sexual Addiction Therapist) and offer highly skilled treatment interventions for addicts and partners.
For other couples treatments, I use EFT & Gottman therapy techniques which emphasize connectiveness and reigniting the fire that brought you together.
For individual treatments, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Techniques & Solution Focused Approaches - which breaks down to more management steps to success!
Essentially utilize a client-based approach to treatment, which leads to goal-oriented, interactive, task-centered and strengths-based therapy. You don't have to do this alone. Feel free to reach out!
I love the journey with my client(s). I get to see remarkable transformations happen. I see clients step into brave new territory and reach successes they had not thought possible. I have witnessed clients who were able to let go of bad habits and toxic relationships, and witnessed other clients reconnect and reinvigorate their relationships. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every new customer brings out a new therapist out in me. I provide therapeutic experience, techniques and tools to share, and I have the privilege to learn alongside my client on their unique healing journey.
Our first goal is to build our therapeutic rapport, establish trust, and find our connection-rhythmn in our session time together.
Once our rapport is established and my client experiences trust in their therapist -- they begin to take new risks, they develop success experiences that strengthen and encourage them along their path, and they identify strengths that they never thought possible.
