Integrate Counseling MBC-Mind Body Counseling
About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Mental Health Service Provider (LPC MHSP), with education in both biology and psychology. I also specialize in somatic psychotherapy with over 200 hours of training specifically in somatic psychotherapy work with clients. I am able to layer my somatic approaches with traditional counseling techniques, and tailor my approaches to the needs of each client. The mind body approaches I use with clients through somatic psychotherapy, along side traditional talk therapy combines mindfulness techniques, meditation, breath work, movement, bilateral brain stimulation, rapid eye movements (EMDR integrated into the somatic work), cognitive reframing, experiential therapy, targeted yoga positions that stimulate the up and down regulation of different neurotransmitters for particular symptoms and diagnoses, and biofeedback. I also offer group counseling sessions with both traditional and somatic psychotherapy approaches.
I have experience working as a licensed professional counselor in a nonprofit counseling center, a private psychiatry and counseling practice, and an outpatient addiction and mental health treatment center. My experience ranges from all ages and demographics to all types of mental health diagnoses and needs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Hire someone who is fully licensed as an LPC MHSP (Licensed Professional Counselor Mental Health Service Provider. That is the highest level of licensure in counseling, requires the most education, requires over 3000 hours of supervised experience counseling clients, and must have passed all 3 state licensing exams. If you can also get someone such as myself, who has even more training in a specialization ontop of the requirements to be licensed as an LPC MHSP, even better!
