We provide a variety of services and use multiple methods such as cognitive, humanistic and psychodynamic approachs. We work with children over 5 and adults of any age. We specialize in welcoming the spiritual dimension of a person's life no matter what that looks like. For many, this is an important part of their experience and can be a source of great healing and comfort. Our hope is to work ourselves out of a job. We help you stand strong so you can embrace your life with confidence.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your first step is to contact us. Some initial information such name adn address will be taken along with your email address. We will take the time to answer any of your questions and provide further information about us. A first session will be scheduled at that time. You are then sent a portal link with a welcome message and some initial paperwork to fill out. At the first session you can decide if you think we are a fit for your needs. If so, you and your counselor will create a plan to address your concerns. If not, we will offer some referal choices for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Ph.D in Pastoral, Clinical Mental Health. I am a licensed counselor in Pennsylvania. I work with adults and have 11 years experience. My colleague is a licensed social worker who works with children and adults. She had been doing this work for over 20 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our fee is $75.00. We accept Highmark, Aetna, Geising, Optum, and Medicaid plans. We do not take Medicare. If you do not have insurance or are not covered for mental health services, we will work on a sliding scale with a minimum fee of $25.00. We understand that these are difficult times for many and are here to help.
How did you get started in this business?
My undergraduate degree was in psychology. After that, I ended up teaching junior high school through highschool for 11 years. I received a Masters Degree in Environmental Studdies in 1998 and worked as an outdoor educator for several years. I received a Masters Degree in Counseling in 2010 because I wanted to return to my original ambition which was to assist people on a spiritual journey who had emotional and mental obstacles. I earned a Ph.D in 2019 and opened a private practice in 2020. I have taught in three post-secondary institutions since 2010. I am most interested in helping people find their way
