Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We email our patients the forms to fill out or they can come in half an hour early to fill them out. We have a chat about your health, and then you relax on a comfortable massage table in a private room and receive your treatment. Your appointment will last about an hour. The environment is very much more like a spa than a clinical setting, with calming music, lighting, and decorations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Oregon with the Oregon Medical Board and am certified with the NCCAOM. I have a master's degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have also passed the California Board Exams, am a certified yoga instructor, and have studied herbal medicine, Ohashiatsu, psychology, and qigong.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We bill many types of health insurance as well as MVA and Workers Comp. For time of service the first visit is $90 and returning is $75. There is a buy five get one free package available for $375.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always look for an licensed acupuncturist who has at least a master's degree. Avoid "dry needling".
