Person Centric Counseling

I like to see my clients grow and find balance in their life.I understand during these challenging times many people just need someone to listen to them.I offer a person centric approach that helps the the person feel welcomed, and respected. Developing trust is huge in counseling ,so I spend the first few sessions getting to know and understand the person's needs.I have almost 22 years experience in the mental health counseling profession.I have credentialing in alcohol/drug counseling and certifying in holistic health. I have a master's degree and graduate certificate in Alcohol drug counseling.. Iam completing credentials in mental health counseling..

I have worked with the adult mental health population and youth population. I have done most of my counseling in the Portland,Oregon metro area. I like to see the progress and growth the person makes from when they first start their counseling to where they are at the end of their sessions. It is rewarding to see the change in a client.
