I am a senior professional who uses a strength based, approach in my work with children, adolescents, and adults. I help build on what persons are already doing to resolve their issues. I bring to the work many years of skills, knowledge, and success.
I am intrigued and enchanted by the challenges persons present in the dilemmas they face in life and relationships. I find special pleasure when I can help them find unique ways to resolve their issues.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With children & some teenagers, I meet with parents first & then have a family session. With teenagers & adults my usual first session is getting enough information & impressions to tailor our work together & where possible to take initial steps toward problem resolution. Other significant persons are added as needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my MSW from Carnegie Mellon University in 1952. I have worked in many settings, including the military, family counseling agencies & multiservice agencies serving children & families. I have taught at Universities. I have credentials in clinical hypnotherapy training from the Wellness Institute, Bill O'Hanlon & the Milton H. Erickson Foundation. I have certificates from the Gestalt Insitute of Cleveland, in Narrative Therapy & Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Structural Family Therapy, plus others.
