Our hours are flexible with services hours on evenings and Saturdays. This is helpful for people who have varied work schedules. Our fees are affordable and based on income. We use a gentle compassionate approach to treatment.
I have been working in the field of addiction for over 30 years and I am passionate about the challenge of motivating people to make positive changes in their lives. I beleive in facilitating empowerment and self determination for each and every client that walks through the door.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an assessment that takes 1-1 1/2 hours and then we would schedule an orientation with a start date. We ask each client to have an open mind to the process and be willing to see things differently.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Social Work form University of Cincinnati. I have an independent chemical dependency license (LICDC) and Substance abuse Professional (SAP). In the past 30+ years, I have worked in public, private, inpatient, outpatient, men, women, and families.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
All services are self pay. No insurance is used but fees can be used toward an insurance deductible.
Income of Over $35,000/year is standard pricing.
Pre pay is a 10% discount
Under $35,000 receives disocunted services.
How did you get started in this business?
I have alcoholism in my family and I had a desire to help others. I started by taking a job as a an aide in the detox ward at a hospital in Evansville Indiana.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of people over the years, including Ultra rich to ultra poor, families, individuals adolenscents, LBGTQ, limited reading/writing issues
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a client that was very angry about being sent to treatment by his employer. However after his third session he said he actually looked forward to coming to his session at New Direction.
