As a former classroom teacher, shamanic practitioner and life coach since 2009, hypnotherapist since 2011, and mental health counselor in private practice since 2020, I am dedicated to helping my clients develop the skills and understanding to improve their relationships with self and others. I work with clients from a trauma-informed perspective. I specialize in nature-based and equine-assisted psychotherapy for teens, adults, and couples. In-person or telehealth. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to schedule a 20-minute conversation ($30 - refunded to your intake session if we decide to work together) called a Discovery Call. That way, we have a block of uninterrupted time with which to get to know each other a bit, discuss what you are looking for and what I can offer, and then decide if we want to move forward into a therapeutic relationship. $120 for a 45-minute office or telehealth session;
$145 for a 55-minute Equine-Assisted or Walk-n-Talk session at the farm
How did you get started in this business?
I began as a classroom teacher and riding instructor, trained as a life coach, and then earned my Masters in Counseling with a post-Masters certificate in Equine-Assisted Mental Health. I have always had a passion to help both people and animals, and my current work brings it all together.
