Typically our initial counseling sessions are casual, in a platform that ensures that we are the right fit for you.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially we will set up a 15 minute consultation to ensure that we are the right fit. Then, therapist will obtain basic demographic information as well as some history/background to understand what brought you into counseling. You are also welcome to ask any questions. I will obtain your insurance information for verification and if do not accept your insurance or you are not covered by insurance we do offer a sliding scale.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Unique Grier received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The City College of New York, (CUNY) in 2016. She received her Master’s Degree in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling in September 2021.

How did you get started in this business?
In every challenging moment in life lies the opportunity for change. Change can often be scary, and/or difficult, however necessary to achieve inner peace; counseling can help you move forward in the process to achieve mental health and balance. I have person life difficulties in therefore I have personal experience with therapy and I want to offer the support I received.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have experience working with diverse backgrounds composed of individual adults and families. I have experience working with individuals who have the desire to better manage anxiety and depression as a result of work-life stress and/or have a history of trauma.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have work with clients and helped them make changes that align with their values.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
