About
I specialize in comprehensive Adult ADHD Assessment, Diagnosis (Testing) and Treatment Planning. We examine your present adult symptoms along with those you experienced in childhood to reach a reliable and firm diagnosis so that you may begin appropriate, effective treatment.
As a psychotherapist (licensed in NV and WA State), Harvard IOC Coaching Fellow (globally) and educator over over two decades, I understand your struggles and am here to help you recognize and strengthen ADHD traits that are uniquely yours to bring harmony and balance to your life, relationships and career.
With over 20,000 hours treating clients with Adult ADHD I understand that perhaps you feel misunderstood and that no one listens. That changes now, with me. I am warm, supportive and non-judgmental; I understand your struggles and that perhaps you've always felt ADHD is causing pain in your life. You've taken tests online and it seems like you have so many of the symptoms. Or perhaps your child has been diagnosed with ADHD and pieces are falling into place.
Whatever brings you here now, you are finally at a spot where your ADHD is just not OK anymore. And I can help! Have you experience any of the following:
. You may have been told by others that you're "thin skinned" or emotional
. You’re more perceptive or intuitive than others
. You're a high-achiever, expert at hyperfocus—but mostly with the things that interest you or provide some kind of pleasure
. Becoming engaged in some things is just beyond what you can handle and you end up feeling frustrated and wondering what's wrong with you
. If you can’t do something perfect, you’d rather not do it at all
. You've reached heights in your career that others envy, but you feel they not fully realize what it has taken for you to get there
. The words "Imposter Syndrome" ring in your head every time you sense judgement or criticism from others
. Irresistible urges are commonplace and relentless.; days, hours—minutes, even—are full of distraction and overwhelm leaving you exhausted
What you can expect when working together with me is the highest level of care and concern in moving towards a happy, healthy, well-balanced life as an adult with ADHD, including:
. A thorough, professional assessment of Adult ADHD
. A firm diagnosis from which to work
. A custom treatment plan (psychotherapy or coaching) addressing areas you're struggling with
. Self-education resources
I have a passion for helping my clients recognize and begin to appreciate their amazing strengths and to uncover coping mechanisms and strategies around things in which they're not as strong.
This begins with a comprehensive, thorough Assessment as ADHD often mimics other disorders such as anxiety and/or depression leading to ineffective treatment.
Information and education around how your strengths differ from others is illuminating and impact and it's truly an honor for me to help my clients discover their true selves!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I welcome your phone call or email and get back in touch with you as quickly as possibe. I know many times, simply picking up the phone to learn whether you have Adult ADHD is one of the hardest things to do and want to recognize the courage that takes on your part.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I offer over two decades of assessment, diagnosis psychotherapy, coaching, consultation and education for Adult ADHD for both individuals and couples.
I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and extensive post-graduate specialized training in Adult ADHD.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I offer my Adult ADHD Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment Planning at $1,600.
It's important that the assessment be as comprehensive as possible for a reliable diagnosis so I plan two two-hours sessions, one for your adult symptoms and one for childhood symptoms, prepare a treatment plan and then we meet for a follow-up two-hour session so that you have a focused direction going forward.
Treatment often entails ADHD Coaching (either with myself or I can provide other referrs) and/or self-education.
How did you get started in this business?
I completed my Masters Degree in 1996 from The University of San Francisco after a caree as a software engineer. I had the amazing opportunity to work with many high-achieving, accomplished professionals who coincidentally had ADHD and who so beautifully thrived from utilizing their strengths. This was intriguing to me and became an advanced area of study and practice from that point forward!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've had the honor of treating high-achieving, accomplished professionals (C-Suite, managers, IT professionals, high-profile individuals such as professional athletes) due to my areas of experience and previous work experience as a software engineer.
I treat any individual or couple however, who feels that ADHD is currently affecting their life, relationships and/or career and want to start with a comprehensive assessment and diagnosis.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would recommend researching Adult ADHD specialists with advanced expertise in this area. It's a complex disorder which can mimic many other disorders including anxiety and/or depression and a reliable, comprehensive assessment ensures that you are getting focused, effective treatment instead of wasting valuable time, energy and money on a path that may not be appropriate.
If you were born prior to 1980, the chances are very high that you may not have ever been assessed for ADHD and sadly, it remains a very underdiagnosed disorder. The good news is that once diagnosed and on a proper treatment path, the opportunity for relief of the pain and challenges you are facing is very obtainable!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I conduct a very thorough assessment as mentioned, and so I prepare my clients by encouraging them to find someone, most importantly, who they can relate to: this is your opportunity to speak, in depth, to someone who understands and can relate to your challenges, without judgment, in a warm, supportive environment.
The rapport you feel from the outset, whether through the professionals website, emails or initial phone call can inform you as to whether this is someone who can provide the understanding and expertise you need and deserve.
