What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask if there are any concerns then I walk them through exactly what techniques I will apply.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at Cortiva Institute. I also studied abroad in Thailand. I am current with my annual continuing education courses and CPR
How did you get started in this business?
I was vacationing in Martha's Vineyard 22years ago and started reading a book called Feet First by Laura Norman. I immediately signed up to take reflexology certification course. Through there I met women in various holistic health fields and decided toward that direction in career. A year later I found myself in massage therapy school and I've been doing massage ever since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types. Special needs, cancer patients, Parkinson's, MS, injured, disabled, and I worked with able bodied , athletes, yogis, and people who mainly need stress relief. My oldest client is 96 years old and my youngest client is 4 years old.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I helped one of my clients through their migraine headaches with some breathing techniques and I applied some cranial sacral work and acupressure points to help relieve frequency of migraines.
