Jennifer Liang, L.Ac. is a Licensed Acupuncturist with extensive training and experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Before joining Northern Medical Center, Jennifer was the founder of and a partner in Kingsfoil Acupuncture Clinic, a private practice of traditional Chinese medicine in Milpitas, California.
She holds a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (D.O.M., O.M.D.) degree from Five Branches University in San Jose, Calif., and a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of East-West Medicine in San Jose, Calif.
Jennifer has also been active in teaching Traditional Chinese Medicine at various institutions. Subjects taught include: Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbs, Prescription Ingredients, and Diagnostics.
When the patient recovers from their illness, it gives me greate joy and a sense of accomplishment.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
He or she needs to call first and make an appoitment. They can also asnwer the questionnaire online or phone to make sure their condition is qualified for acupucture.
We will give him/her examination based on their condition and provide a plan after the first treatment.

How did you get started in this business?
I am from a three-generation Chinese medicine family. I have been influenced by my grandmother, my mother and my cousins who have been either Chinese doctors, herbalists or acupucturists. I have developed interest in Chinese medicine at a young age.

I would recommend someone who has deep experiences in the area of treatment that they are looking for. Convenience is also important as it requires several visits to complete the treatment.

They need to prepare to talk about their the history of their illness and condition in details.
