Passion for helping others and a desire to see people live a life of hope Kai Boyce Rasberry envisioned a company (Unique Perspectives/KBR Counseling) that would offer services to those that may not otherwise seek help. We provide mental health and susbtance abuse services on an outpatient basis. We are located at 2506 Nash Street North Ste B in Wilson NC 27896. A place that people can go that fosters the idea of self-acceptance, healing and learning to love oneself unconditionally. She is married and a mother of four beautiful children. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, couponing and helping others. Kai Boyce Rasberry has a Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, graduation date 9/30/2016. She also has a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Studies from Capella University (12/31/2007). In addition to receiving her Master’s Degrees she has obtained a certificate in Contemporary Theory in Addictive Behavior (12/31/2011) and in Contemporary Theory in Couple and Family Systems (3/31/2014). She is currently certified with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor and as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and Licensed as a Professional Counselor in NC. Unique Perspectives seeks to offer support and services by empowering people to be able to live the Quality of Life they desire. We are committed to providing high-quality service in a supportive, non-judgmental, positive atmosphere as we support you in reaching your goals and increasing your quality of life. We do so by educating, linking individuals and families to available resources and teaching the skills necessary to reach individual goals. Unique Perspectives wants to inspire strong interpersonal skills and instill a sense of hope in the future. We are working towards progress while developing a level commitment and responsibility for ones actions.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, graduation date 9/30/2016. I also have a Master’s of Science Degree in Counseling Studies from Capella University (12/2007). I am Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (12788) with the North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Board. I am currently certified with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CDAC-14939), a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS-20934) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS-23115). My role is to provide an environment of safety, trust, and mutual respect from which the clients and I cooperatively explore your world. We work together to find new perspectives and options from which you may choose in order to change your life situation, according to the goals you establish.
