I am a Lincesed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (NC #10893) with a Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I have experience in community mental health, college counseling, and private practice. My specialty areas include anxiety disorders, dissociative disorders, panic disorders, trauma, and depression.

I offer both short and long-term therapy and use a confidential, practical, and positive approach with adults dealing with issues such as:

Feeling stressed and overwhelmed

Dissociation

Depression and anxiety

Sexual assault/Domestic violence

Trauma/Abuse

My counseling approach is eclectic, systemic, holistic and humanistic. As a mindfulness-based, existentialist therapist, my goal is to provide the means and the guidance to support you in finding the internal and external resources to create the life you desire. Our work may focus on changing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as well as taking a developmental look at where problems may have originated. Together, in a collaborative process, we will develop goals and interventions that are tailored to your unique and specific needs.

My most enjoyable is watching clients have "ah-ha" moment; that moment of understanding and clarity creates an energectic vibe that rocks the room.
