About
It is my intent to raise awareness about mental health issues. Why is it important (glad you asked)? Because it affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Let’s reduce the stigma related to mental illness. The more we talk about mental health conditions, the more normalized it becomes. Starting the conversation is the first step. Let’s talk!
I subscribe to an eclectic approach to counseling because I firmly believe that not all interventions and approaches are effective with every client. Each client receives a personalized experience, where we (the client and therapist) can work together to reach the client’s goals. I am trained in individual, couples, and family therapy.
