I am successful by helping you meet your goals, find relief and help decrease the obstacles in your path. I offer strategies for symptom reduction, being able to feel comfortable in your own skin. I am honest, integral, hard working, genuine and caring.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who almost has her Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling License.
I work with trauma, PTSD, complex mental health and co-occurring therapy. I work with veterans, soldiers and their families and the general population.
I am an integrative/eclectic/holistic therapist/ counselor/ coach. I am a general counselor who works with most populations and cultures. I use CBT, Adlerian, Harm Reduction, Psychodynamic theories. I design a program that fits each client individually. Check out my website at [email protected].

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listen and let you tell your story!
First is a consultation to include a Diagnostic Assessment over 1-2 sessions which is where I get to know you and you get to know me, then develop a treatment plan or define goals and a plan, and then the 4th session we begin working on your plan and/ or goals. I offer strategies for symptom relief during the initial sessions so people find some immediate relief.
I can also meet with you without making and working on a diagnosis and instead assist with life events, obstacles and decisions.
Sometimes the plan unfolds as we work together.
I am laid back, non- judgmental, and genuine!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a military Veteran, with a Paralegal BS, have 13 years of government experience working with veterans, military members and their families. I was a Director if Veteran Services for a County. I then received my Community Counseling MS degree. I have completed over 4000 hours of supervised professional practice. I will be taking a National Test soon and applying for an LPCC License.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I am a private pay therapist fee for services and do not accept insurance at this time. Payments must be made at the beginning of each Session. If travel by this provider utilized there will be an additional charge.
$15 for 15 minutes
$30 for 30 minutes
$65 for 50 minutes
$90 for 80 minutes
$120 for 110 minutes
Diagnostic Assessments range from $200-$600.
Couples Counseling is double the above prices.
Group Counseling is $20-120$ per session.
Sliding fee scale for those that cannot afford these prices, available with proof of income. Veteran discounts available.
Telemental health Services available via secure site.
I provide services before your day begins, during the day, evenings and weekends and some holidays. I have a flexible schedule.
How did you get started in this business?
I began helping children with emotional behavior disorders in High School, and my life brought me full cycle to gain a degree in Community Counseling. I always wanted to own my own business, have always been a leader and learned to coach by watching my father coach and run his business my whole life and my mom as a nurse was so compassionate. They set great examples. I worked with and for government agencies and I have many life experiences that have allowed me to provide diverse, General, and multicultural counseling, advocacy, consulting and coaching, advice and problem solving!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Hire someone like me who genuinely cares about the progress you make. At this time I can only work with clients in Minnesota unless you are out of state and drive to my office.
