Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with initially to determine therapeutic fit. Often I will meet with people weekly for a period of time (often about 8-12 weeks but sometimes longer) and then determine whether to continue services on a biweekly basis or conclude therapy. I am very intentional about helping people gain insight and facilitating the change-making process (rather than "telling people what to do.").
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master's in Social Work degree from Augsburg University (2015) and serve on the Board of Directors of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health.
