About
My goal is to help people find a healthier, positive perspective with mental health, substance issues, relationships, temperament, and their spiritual health. I believe we are mind, body and spirit with one intrinsically impacting the other.
I have a masters in professional counseling from Liberty University, licensed in WI & MI. I am certified and licensed in substance abuse counseling. I recently acquired my mental health coaching certification among multiple trainings that include TF-CBT, and EFCT.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will make our initial contact and decide whether to move forward from there. Next we will do some intake paperwork, determine payment options, problem identification and times that work best including media to use.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters in counseling, a bachelor's in business organization/management and sociology and an associate in electricity/electronics. My experiences mimic my education as I have worked in a wealth and variety of careers prior to settling on this path.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I take the vast majority of insurances that are out there with the exception of Medicare. Make sure you don't need a preauth for services before we get started and you may want to be clear about your deductibles and copays.
If you want to avoid those headaches, I have a very reasonable self-pay rate that many of my clients choose to take advantage of.
How did you get started in this business?
I felt called to the career. Many of my previous positions put me in coaching or guidance roles so it all came very natural. My life is filled with difficult challenges that I have overcome and I apply the acquired knowledge to the challenges at hand so you may not have to personally experience the things I did. To give you some idea in a generic way; divorce, remarriage, single parent, stepparent, addict, alcoholism, legal problems, health issues, and loved one passing away.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked the full spectrum of mental health, substance abuse and domestic issues.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I facilitated several break out sessions at a recovery conference recently.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure it is someone you can relate to. Do they have a sense of humor or one you connect with. Is their style compatible with your specific needs. Do they listen to you!!!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is your commitment to working through the challenge that your seeking help with and are you willing to do what it takes to overcome it. Often other issues reveal themselves and a willingness to be teachable and commited to the task at hand are vital to success.
