I approach you as a complex individual with a multitude of feelings, motivations, hopes, and fears. I honor that complexity by joining you in co-constructing a therapeutic relationship where we can get to know you deeply in order to identify and transform problematic patterns.
I love being able to build deep, unique relationships with each person I work with, where they can learn about themselves, face fears, and grow into who they are.
Cate is really kind and down to earth. I feel like I have her full attention when we’re in session together. I like that she really works hard to understand me. I am happy with how I’ve grown from doing therapy with her.
Really great at what she does, helped me work on some things that have been holding me back, overall in 8 months of therapy I’ve made some good progress.
Cate was a good listener and gave good advice. I felt that she reacted appropriately to issues of a sensitive nature, and I did not feel judged revealing those to her. I would recommend Cate to friends and family, if I didn't think that would be a conflict of interest.
I suggest that first we meet for an initial assessment, where we can discuss what has you looking for therapy, your goals, and any questions you might have. From there, we would plan to meet 2-3 more times for a more in-depth assessment. After that, I would make my recommendations for treatment and we can discuss how to proceed.
