Through Grief Recovery I enjoy giving people hope to heal their hearts after loss. I also enjoy working with couples to give them the tools to communicate better and increase intimacy rather than isolation.

How did you get started in this business?
After 12 years of service in a church as a lay counselor, I went back to school to get licensed as a mental health professional.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My clients have come to me for help dealing with:
Anxiety, depression, grief, relationship break up, communication problems in marriage and other relationships, abuse, trauma, PTSD, painful childhood memories and more.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Call and talk to the counselor as that can give you a feel for if you would feel comfortable working with them. Research shows that about 50% of the success in working with a counselor comes from your rapport with them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask if the counselor you are considering has specialized training in the area you are needing help with.
Ask the counselor to share with you more about how they could work with you on a particular concern.
