About this pro

I have worked for a decade in hospice care working in family dynamics at a time when time is critical. I bring a lot of experience to the table with a functional medical model looking at the whole person and their lifestyle choices: to include diet, activity level, sleep, hobbies, and quality of their relationships. I treat every client with respect and dignity and focus on the strengths that they bring to their lives.  I work with trauma victims as well to include auto accident and Veterans.  Trauma includes PTDS, depression, anxiety, sleep disruption, physical and emotional pain.  I am passionate about our younger generations, and how the technical age has impacted their socialization contributing to depression, anxiety, and poor relationships within and outside the family unit.

I enjoy the individuality of my clients and watching my clients grow and lead healthier lives.

The environment was comfortable and relaxing. Nancy truly cared about me and my situation. I did not feel judged or ashamed. She is flexible and radiates positive energy. She is the best therapist I have been to and would recommend her to anyone. 10 out of 10

Professional, flexible with scheduling what works best for you, has gotten me through one of the toughest times in my life and contuines to guide me to overcome my obstacles and fears from my car accident... I would not be where I am today without her guidance.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I do an initial assessment to determine where my client is beginning the journey, we get to know each other, and we go from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am licensed in the state of Michigan as a Masters of Social Work(LMSW) with a clinical emphasis.
I have a decade of experience in a hospice setting working with families and individuals at their end of their life journey.

I am a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP). This is a functional medicine certification that integrates physical health practices with brain health. Mental Health is essentially brain health and how we treat our body through diet and lifestyle impacts how well our physical and mental health can perform.

Through my hospice work I have embedded in every aspect of the human condition to include grief, loss, marriage issues, family issues, child dynamics, depression, anxiety, anger, and trauma.

I have extensive work in trauma working with our Nation's Veterans with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, marriage and family issues, as well as individuals who bring all the same dynamics to the table from an auto accident.

I am passionate about you as the individual, whether you are an adult or adolescent, and how you are thriving in life.  How are your relationships and how are you feeling and living out your daily life.  I am here to work through anxiety, depression, substance abuse/addiction, trauma, marriage issues, young adult concerns to help you feel better and lead a more productive life.

We as humans are designed for relationship and community and the quality of these relationships will determine the quality of your life.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started in this business?

17 years ago when my marriage was failing and I had a calling to go back to school to help others through this journey called life.
