Jeff's experience was key in helping me work through my depression issues. There were a lot of things to work through, when I sat down in his office for the first time in January 2020. By January 2021, we had everything worked out, and my life was significantly better than it had been before, and I now have more coping mechanisms to deal with any issues that come up in the future.

Jeff has been a great resource for me as I have worked through various mental health issues. He has been a readily available asset that I have been able to use to productively process my thoughts, emotions, and plans for the future.

Jeff is an extremely adept listener. He provides a really helpful balance between listening and asking questions that gives you the space to talk along with the right prompts to keep you focused on central issues. As this is my first experience with a therapist, I'm very happy I was connected with Jeff.

Jeff is a very nice guy, a great listener, non-judgmental and open-minded - he doesn't try to give you advice or tell you what to do

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to spend a couple sessions getting to know a person.  Then I like to hear how a person wants to confront their challenges.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to medical school and got a diverse training. I have left that work and then got a masters in social work so I could pursue work as a therapist. I have taken weekend seminars on mindfulness and I have taken extra courses in being an effective therapist.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

When clients have insurance, I accept their insurance and only have them pay deductibles and co-pay's. When they do not have insurance, we discuss what they can afford and then we come to a reasonable price based on their income level.

How did you get started in this business?

I had worked in the medical field and decided that there was the way that I now wanted to help people tackle the challenges in their life.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with a variety of ages and both men and women. I have worked with people with all kinds of life challenges including alcohol, marrage, work issues, and others as well.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

I would recommend they find someone with whom they feel comfortable discussing very personal issues. I recommend this be someone they believe can help them tackle the challenges in their life.
