How did you get started in this business?
I'd call myself a wounded healer because doctors said it was a miracle I survived being hit by a car as a child. So blessed, I only suffered a broken Leg and fractured collar-bone. When I was older and lost my muscle mass a little earlier than expected due to a different type of trauma, I could feel all the injuries I thought had long healed, resurfacing. I soon realized when a body part hurt, rubbing it was not only a natural instinct, but was very effective. Now love to share this ability to heal with others within limits for my own protection of course. It goes along with healthy eating, postural and breathing habits, as well as stretching and exercising...
What types of customers have you worked with?
The customers I do best with are those whe actually need physical healing. They show the greatest appreciate for the difference holistic touch makes in the way their body feels. They often express relief in problem areas or "lighter" because problem areas they didn't even know they had were addressed. Those with stubborn focus areas benefit most from one 80 minute sessions, once a month or to 50 minute sessions per month. I love to see the difference in my clients posture and confidence or smile from when they walked towards me before our first session compared to the later!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I personally love the Renaissance Festival.
It"a really my favorite event of all time. This is my first year not going, do you COVID. It's time to get back in the game apparently, so I hope it's open this year, even their still may be restrictions and new sanitation practices, like how I highly recommend for clients to now provide their own sheet set to be comfortable and safe using.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
