I love seeing my clients meet and exceed their goals, such as couples repairing their relationship and deepening their emotional intimacy, individuals improving their quality of life through reduction of anxiety and depression symptoms, and families becoming closer through improved communication and emotional expression. I enjoy seeing little victories lead to larger ones for my clients. Most of all, I am honored that my clients trust me and share their lives with me.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

After a client reaches out to me I will respond to them and discuss their therapy needs, scheduling needs, and insurance information to see if we might be a good fit. I am in-network with CareFirst BlueCross Blue Shield and am out of network with some other insurance plans. If you have insurance other than CareFirst, you can call your insurance company to determine what your out of network outpatient mental health care coverage is.

As a licensed MFT in the state of Maryland, I am not able to provide videoconference therapy outside of Maryland.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and am licensed to practice in the state of Maryland.

Additionally, I am certified in Prepare/Enrich, which is the leading pre-marital and marriage assessment and program.

I have had additional trainings in issues such as parenting, suicidal ideation, PTSD and moral injury in veterans, working with transgender clients, working as a trauma informed clinician, utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy with couples with trauma.
