I am an LCSW and trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapist with a certificate in gerontology, specializing in grief counseling and elder care. I have had success in treating co-occurring substance abuse disorders, PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression, mood and personality disorders for client's of diverse ages and backgrounds.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct a thorough psycho-social assessment to gain an understanding of who you are and what your needs are. I actively listen to you, ensuring an understanding of your needs, so we can collaboratively create a treatment plan. I then like to provide you with some coping skills and evidence-based tools to assist you in coping with the presenting problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Social Work, a certificate in gerontology, have received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I also have extensive experience employing Rogerian, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in helping others. Gaining knowledge is a passion of mine. I like to gain as much skill as possible in order to best serve my clients.
