Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I receive a completed introduction form, I wil schedule an initial visit. Usually this visit is a 90 minute session of getting to know what we need to work on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a PhD in Philosphy along with 30 years of practice in cognitive therapy. What we think makes us! We do what we do because we believe what we believe.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I provide PRIVATE Counseling. I do not accept insurance.
Therefore I do not report or post on health records of any insurance. It is real private counseling that is PRICELESS to everyone.
How did you get started in this business?
It began when I saw such a great need for counseling. Today life is not easy and can get very messy.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with men and women from every arena of society. Professionals in many areas, teachers of all kinds, NFL athletes and families, lawyers, doctors etc....
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Looking for a counselor is very personal. Please know that you will know when you have found the one that will help you. Make a commitment for at least a 6-10 sessions. Because when things get tough you will want to stop. DON'T QUIT!!!! HANG IN THERE even when it is hard, THAT MEANS COUNSELING IS WORKING!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
List your goals....for you and your counselor to have as a vision.
