John has done a great job learning about me and my challenges and goals. He is fully engaged during my appointment. He even checks in during the week. He has been flexible enough to meet with me with little notice. Im very appreciative of the ground weve covered thus far. I look forward to continuing to work with him.

The epitome of EXCELLENT patient centered care. From the Receptionist to my therapist John Watts. John displays friendliness, confidence and empathy in every visit. His passion to help others radiates through his active listening, engagement, and communication skills as he provides encouragement along with clear education and explanations. John has made a POSITIVE impact on my life and I look froward to continue working with him.

John Watts does an excellent job counseling my son who listens to John and takes suggestions from him. We had tried counseling before with almost no results but now my son is doing so much better and is focused on his goals and not so angry or depressed as he was!

    Frequently asked questions

Initially, helping clients feel comfortable is of utmost importance so that you are more apt to share personal information, your background/history, also known as a psycho-social assessment. Ascertaining an accurate diagnosis, and establishing a treatment plan with objective, practical goals and viable solutions, bringing more balance, and helping you to reach your optimal level of functioning.

I have more than 20 years experience as a therapist, with my forte in addictions/substance abuse, and pastoral counseling.

I have a trifold undergrad degree in psychology, & pastoral/Biblical counseling, which assists those who desire pastoral counseling, all of which is compatible with the spirituality found in the 12 Steps, and science-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I acquired my masters degree from Florida International University.

My Base price is 75.00 per session. If there are financial

constraints, I am always open to negotiating a more affordable price.

I discovered my gift and calling years ago as a counselor. So my professional career is more of a vocation, and definitely a calling in helping others help themselves.

I've had the privilege to work with children, adolescents, adults, in geriatrics, with addicts, those in the DOC system (Department of corrections), veterans, families, those with mental health and/or dually-diagnosed (addictions/mental health issues), with the overall objective helping those seeking a more balanced life, with an emphasis on the integrating the multifaceted aspects of living: (physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual).

Recently I read some of the reviews of current and former clients, and was warmed by their fondness of our clinical connection, expressing how much more balanced and happier thier lives are since counseling with me.

Keep in mind that one of the most important aspects of any relationship, and especially with something as personal counseling, is the "personal connection," and trust, which is the foundation of every healthy and wholesome relationship. My advice is to read my clients' reviews of how my service has helped them in assistanting you to make the right decision. God's blessings to you in your venture

First and foremost is a personal recommendation from someone trustworthy, and or my reviews. Specific issues are also important; finding someone with the knowledge and experience, as well as passion to address those issues in helping restore you to a happier, healthier and wholesome life/lifestyle commensurate with your life convictions, morals and deeply held values.
