About
Hi! I'm Jessie,
I'm a licensed clinician in the state of FL. I love coffee, the beach, sunshine, palm trees, mountains, and the work I get to do! I graduated from the University of South FL (USF-Go Bulls!) with my undergrad in Psychology and completed my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University. With 10 plus years of recovery from my own eating disorder and diet culture, I believe that living a fully recovered life is possible! It is for me, and it can be for you too!
Establishing Restored Purpose Counseling Services has been a dream! I've always had a passion for working with those struggling with eating disorders, body image, and traumatic experiences. Struggling through high school and college with an eating disorder, I developed a strong desire to help others overcome disorder eating and body image issues and find hope and freedom from diet culture. Through support and self-compassion you can learn to love your body completely just as it is and have peace and freedom with all foods (which is hard work with our diet culture).
I believe in meeting people where they are in their recovery journey. This looks like involving you in the process of finding your authentic self by building a trusting and healthy relationship. We’re in this together!
